Your photo is digitally traced, separated into layers, and then carved from a solid block of wood. Here’s how.
First, we digitally trace your photo to separate it into layers, for example, foreground people and background scenery.
The layers are then carved from a solid block of select pine wood, leaving the integrated frame so the end piece is a single, solid block of carved wood, including the frame!
Photo Application and Finishing.
Your photo is printed on archival-quality photo paper, is cut out and applied to the carved wood block, and is finished with a UV-protective coating to protect your photo.
